Engraved Tungsten

Engraving on hard metals can be done using different methods.  
Here is a sample of lasering on a solid bar of tungsten.

The picture below shows the same bar of tungsten, positioned differently.
Notice that the engraving appears lighter or darker depending on how it is held under the light.
